These terms are an agreement between you and Clattershop LLC, a Wisconsin company ("we", "us"), about the Crystal Ledger app. By creating an account and accepting these terms, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. Questions: crystal-ledger-support@clattershop.com.

This is a test build

You are using a pre-release test version of Crystal Ledger shared with friends and family. It may change, break or stop working, and features and prices may change before public release. Purchases happen in Apple's and Google's test modes and do not charge you; they do not carry over to the public app. We may reset the test environment, which may erase what you have kept in the app; we will try to warn you first. Please tell us what works and what does not.

What Crystal Ledger is

Crystal Ledger provides content and experiences for educational, informational, artistic and personal-reflection purposes: Encounters that tell a stone's story, a private Ledger of your stones, private Reflections and photo identification.

Content is not a substitute for qualified medical, mental-health, legal or financial advice, diagnosis or treatment. Spiritual associations and personal experiences are presented as attributed beliefs and interpretations, not established medical effects.

We keep different kinds of statements clearly apart and label every one: observed material facts, sourced scientific explanation, attributed traditions (what a tradition or source says, credited to it — not a claim by us that a stone heals or has powers), the author's own hypothesis, your personal Reflections, and artistic images. These labels are always shown. The content setting in Account lets you choose Both (the default), Science only (hides attributed traditions and intentions) or Meaning first (opens on traditions and intentions, with the science folded away, not removed). The setting changes what you see first, not what the labels say.

Some stone pages are drafted with AI from our mineral data and carry a visible "Needs review" label until a person has reviewed them. Images and films marked as artistic visualizations are generated or edited, not photographs of real events. Crystal Ledger does not detect energy, healing, love or any "charge" in a stone.

Your account

You must be 13 or older to create an account, and Crystal Ledger is offered in the United States. If you are under 18, please read these terms with a parent or guardian. You can browse the free Encounters without an account.

You sign in with your phone number. Keep your phone and number secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. If you lose access to your number, contact us. One account is for one person.

Free and paid features

Free: the free Encounters, a Ledger of up to 25 stones with photos and details, private Reflections, your first 5 photo identifications and then 3 per month, and export of your Ledger at any time. Each stone counts once toward the identification allowance, and you always see a full result before any offer to upgrade. Crystal Ledger has no ads.

First Encounters — $2.99, one-time purchase. Three Encounter studies, yours to keep. It does not renew. Restore it on a new device with Restore Purchases in Account.

Crystal Ledger Plus — $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year. Unlimited identification, an unlimited Ledger with full-resolution photo backup, multiple collections and every Encounter, including First Encounters and new releases while your subscription is active. If you bought First Encounters, you keep it whether or not you subscribe.

Prices are in US dollars and are shown in the app before you buy; the price the App Store or Google Play shows at checkout is the price you pay. We may change prices; a subscription price change follows Apple's or Google's notice and consent rules.

Free trial and subscriptions

• Crystal Ledger Plus starts with a 7-day free trial, one per App Store or Google Play account, as Apple or Google determine eligibility.
• Two days before the trial ends, the app reminds you that your first charge is coming.
• Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or a billing period ends, the subscription renews automatically and your App Store or Google Play account is charged for the next period (monthly or yearly, as you chose).
• Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; Account in the app has a one-tap link to them. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Plus until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.

When Plus ends

Nothing is held hostage. Your stone entries stay readable and exportable forever. Photos for 25 stones stay — you choose which, or we keep the 25 you added first. Photos for any other stones are kept for 30 days so you can download them — the app shows the date — and are then removed. Subscribing again before that date keeps them. Your Reflections are never affected by what you pay for.

Purchases, refunds and restores

All purchases in Crystal Ledger are made through the App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. Apple or Google processes your payment. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies; request one from them. If a purchase is refunded or reversed, the access it gave ends, but your Ledger and Reflections remain yours.

Your content

You own what you put into Crystal Ledger: your photos, Reflections, notes and Ledger details. You give us permission to store, process, copy and show your content to you, and to send stone photos to our identification service when you ask for an identification, only so we can run Crystal Ledger for you. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content for advertising or to train AI, and we do not make your private content public.

Only add photos and content you have the right to use. You can snap stones anywhere, including in shops: please respect a shop's wishes about photography, and avoid photographing other people. Do not use Crystal Ledger to store anything unlawful.

Photo identification

Identification gives up to three possible matches with a plain confidence level, the visible traits for and against each, and a suggested next step. It is an educational aid and it can be wrong. It is not an appraisal, an authenticity or "fake" verdict, a treatment test or a safety assessment. Do not rely on it to decide whether a stone is safe to handle, put in water, wear against skin, ingest or give to a child or pet, or what it is worth, including when deciding whether to buy it. The identification you confirm is your record, not a certificate.

Care information

Care suggestions are general guidance. Some minerals are fragile, water-soluble, light-sensitive or toxic. When in doubt, ask a qualified specialist before cleaning, soaking or handling a stone.

Our content

The Encounters, text, images, films, data and design of Crystal Ledger belong to us or our licensors. You may use them in the app for your personal, non-commercial use. Do not copy, scrape, resell or redistribute them, or use them to train AI models, without our written permission. Sharing a sample Encounter with the in-app share is welcome.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Crystal Ledger: no attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around its limits or purchases; no access to other people's accounts; no automated collection; nothing unlawful. We may suspend or close an account that does these things, and we will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

Ending your use

You can stop using Crystal Ledger and delete your account at any time in Account. We may stop offering Crystal Ledger or a feature. If we ever close Crystal Ledger, we will tell you in the app at least 60 days before, and you will be able to export your Ledger until it closes.

Disclaimers

Crystal Ledger is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise the app will be uninterrupted or error-free or that an identification is correct. Some states do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits, and our total liability for any claim about Crystal Ledger is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of- law rules. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be decided by the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin, and either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court.

Apple and Google

If you got Crystal Ledger from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance, and is not responsible for claims about the app (including product liability, legal-compliance or intellectual-property claims); if the app fails to conform to a warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of its purchase price, and Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not in a country under US government embargo and are not on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties. If you got Crystal Ledger from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply to your purchases.

Changes

When we change these terms we will show you the new version in the app, with its date. If a change is material, we will ask you to accept it again before it applies to you. A change never takes away a purchase you already made.

General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about Crystal Ledger. If a part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part is not a waiver. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them to a successor to Crystal Ledger.
