Delete your Crystal Ledger account

Crystal Ledger by Clattershop LLC

You can delete your Crystal Ledger account and its data at any time, in the app or by email. Deleting your account is permanent.

Cancel Crystal Ledger Plus first

Deleting your account does not cancel a Crystal Ledger Plus subscription. Cancel it in your store first, or you may keep being charged:

• Google Play: open the Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, choose Crystal Ledger and tap Cancel subscription.
• App Store (iPhone or iPad): open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Crystal Ledger and tap Cancel Subscription.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open Crystal Ledger and sign in.
2. Tap the Account icon (the person icon).
3. Tap Delete account and data.
4. Read the confirmation and tap to confirm.

You are signed out as soon as you confirm.

Ask us to delete it without the app

If you no longer have the app, email crystal-ledger-support@clattershop.com from any email address. Include the phone number you use to sign in to Crystal Ledger. To make sure the request comes from the account holder, we text a confirmation code to that phone number; reply with the code and we delete the account.

When deletion happens

Deletion finishes within 30 days of your request, whether you ask in the app or by email.

Deleting your Crystal Ledger account

Deleting your account is permanent. It cannot be undone, and we cannot restore anything afterwards.

Before you delete

• Cancel Crystal Ledger Plus first. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, or you may keep being charged.
• Export your Ledger if you want to keep it: use Export in My Ledger (spreadsheet or PDF).
• Download any photos you want to keep.

What we delete

• Your account and your phone number in our sign-in system
• Your Reflections
• Your Ledger: your stones, wish list, details, notes and confirmed identifications
• Your stone photos, their fingerprints and the identification results kept for them
• Photos still waiting in the Snap queue on this phone
• The sample links you created
• Your usage analytics
• Your settings and your record of policy choices

You are signed out on every device as soon as you confirm. Deletion finishes within 30 days, and the app shows its status. Copies in our encrypted backups are erased automatically within 7 days after that.

What is kept, and why

• Purchase records. Apple or Google keeps the record of what you bought under their own policies; we cannot delete it. We keep our copy of the purchase records (transaction IDs, products, dates, refunds) for 7 years for tax and accounting, no longer linked to your phone number, Ledger or Reflections. Your First Encounters purchase belongs to your App Store or Google Play account: if you create a new Crystal Ledger account later, Restore Purchases with the same store account brings it back.
• A record that you asked us to delete your account and when it was done, so we can show we did it. It does not contain your content.
• Support emails you sent us, for 2 years after the conversation ends, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Error and security logs that may mention your account ID are not kept for this purpose; they roll off on their normal schedule (most within 14 days, database logs within 365 days). They never contain your Reflections or photos.
